Today, the PlayPhone Social Gaming Network (PSGN) lets you easily download mobile games, connect with your friends and play phone games for free. Most games are free to play and allow the player to purchase in-game items such as coins, chips, and power-ups. We are constantly working to improve our services and provide new experience for our customers.
For those unfamiliar — which is completely normal — “Playphone develops and operates social game stores worldwide, providing mobile gamers with a leading-edge social gaming experience. The Playphone Game Store is a single, engaging app where gamers discover, download, play and share thousands of popular games with friends, with advanced social features deeply integrated throughout the gaming experience. Gamers easily connect with friends to recommend games, challenge or invite to play, brag leaderboard ranks, and more.”
A quick search on the portal reveals that the game store offers several popular titles including Farm Frenzy, 2048, and Cut the Rope 2 among others. The company also says that it has great revenue offerings for developers. Only the time will tell how Cyanogen makes use of it, and how many more developers they end up attracting. As of present, Playphone doesn’t have much to offer.
As long as there is a convenient way (like a web form) for people to unsubscribe to PlayPhone once and for all, then it will be all good. People in general hate to pay for something they never knowingly signed up for.
